Why didn't Microsoft fix the power management of the SP4?

While I have always loved the design of my SP4, the power management still leaves a lot to be desired.

I think it's not something that can be easily be sorted via a firmware update or so... If it WERE possible they would fix it because they have fixed quite a few issues SP4 had due to Win10 but then again I'm not sure how they'd do it. Don't think they'll do it now considering the SP is out
