    Hey guys,

    I've had my Surface Pro 4 for a little bit over a year now. My stylus has always had some problems with it. It would just stop working out of the blue, but I was usually able to fix it by taking the battery out and putting it back in.

    This trick isn't working this time. No matter how much I mess with it, or how many new batteries I put in it, nothing seems to be working.

    Has this ever happened to any of you? Do I need to buy a new stylus? I'm really hoping that's not the case.

    My friend had a similar problem. MS sent him a new one under warranty. If you are from Europe, you should have 2 years of warranty.

    Is it paired to your surface pro? Do you have Bluetooth turn on?

    I've got exactly the same problem can't work out what caused it but it was after some recent Windows update

    The latest firmware broke the digitizer I think, tried 4 pens, none work

    Did you tried to change the battery? Happened with me. The battery level indicator measured approx 60% level days before, then stopped working, everything except the battery change solved my problem.
