I wonder if we will be able to pre-order and have it delivered on the 9th? I don't trust my local BB to have them so I may have to order from the MS store.

Keep me informed if you find anything, I'm hoping my BB will have it, they seemed to really like the Surface there.

Usually pre-orders go live two weeks or so before the actual release date. When I ordered the RT, I got it delivered the day it was released.

I think this is the route I'll go. This way, I can be sure to get it as well as a few accessories as well. I'm planning on picking up an additional AC adapter to keep at work and maybe the Microsoft Complete warranty.

Off course, sitting around all day waiting for the mail man sucks and there is something fun about walking into the store and walking out with a shiny new computer.

At least they are listening to feedback and offering a 64Gb RT sku without touch cover.

And for some reason they aren't announcing anything for thoses outside the US/Canada. Don't know why the UK is getting left out. We got the RT the same day as the US.
