MicroSD card not recognized

Found an old 16GB MicroSD card laying around and am trying to get the Pro to recognize it. When I insert it, I hear the "bing bing bing" sound, but no new drive shows up in Explorer. Nothing shows up in Disk Management either. I have rebooted multiple times with it inserted.

I know this was used in my Samsung Focus to expand its memory, but hasn't been used in months. Is there something special I should do to it to make it show up? Or should I assume it is dead?

Have you tried the microSD card in card reader in another computer?

Sounds like a bad Card

I think putting it in phone locks it to the phone. Google it. Windows phones that it. Can't use for any other device.
