ok, i'm a big music fan, and also a tech person, with a lot of tablets already.
i still use a fujitsu stylistic 5112 core2 duo with windows XP.
anyways, i have been keeping an eye on all the new microsoft tablets.
i used to have a windows zune (died), and just recently got a windows phone 7.
so all my tools are microsoft.
i know there is a surface 2, and pro versions out there. but awhile ago i saw
there was a possibility of a dj tool for the surface:
===================================
Surface #RemixProject
unfortunately you can't buy it, but ebay to the rescue.
since it's a pretty niche thing, there were a few of them.
so i ended up getting one.
of course, then i had to decide to get a surface (NO WAY), or
a pro or pro 2. the pro 2 is out of my price range, and so i decided
to get a used regular pro model for about half of what they normally cost.
so next week, i'll have a lot of toys to play with.
will post some thoughts, and impressions of it once i get it.
i'm not a big fan of touch interfaces, so i'm hoping the controller
and software does support mouse input. we'll see.
also, i have used windows vista, and 7. and a little bit of 8,
but i'm not a fan of it at all, will probably disable the metro part,
and use desktop apps.
