Touch Cover 2 vs. Original Type Cover

I have the original type cover for my Surface Pro. I'm thinking about getting the Type Cover 2 (I really like the backlighting and how easy it is to clean it). How easy/hard is it to go from typing on a traditional keyboard such as the type cover to typing on something with less to no feedback for your fingers with the touch cover?

It definitely has its own learning curve and it took me a while to figure it out. Something that helps is to have the key press sound on. At the end of the day though, you are typing something that as thick as a small stack of paper.
