Interesting that the firmware update for Surface would come on Patch Tuesday when all Windows Products get their maintenance.

Woot! My Surface is borderline just loud enough. My house is real open so even if its quiet in my house, the sound just dissipates when I'm in an open room. Quite happy for this! I was about to start building cups to put by the speakers to project the sound forward!

Yeah, the volume needed a fix. I was watching a movie the other night and I had to turn it up all the way to get a decent sound.

Checked mine after the firmware upgrade and I am seeing something like a 20% improvement now.:smile:

can anyone confirm that Tegra3 3D sound has been enabled with this update? Some games seem to sound more immersive now.
