Updated my original Surface to Windows 8.1 RT, and guess who popped up on the list of Bluetooth devices? My Fitbit Flex. That means Surface RT now supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE.

I hope we gonna have sync support on the official Fitbit app soon :-)

This looks great, must have a look at my Surface RT now. I have an FitBit Ultra with the docking station maybe that might work - but I am not holding my breath.

Because I have a an Ultra and it uses the base station it didn't show up. Lets hope FitBit do drivers for RT for the base station.

Fitbit stopped selling the Ultra a few months ago, and I wouldn't expect them to release anything new for it (maybe only bug fixes on their current software) :-(

With the Zip / One / Flex / Force, they're all sharing the same connectivity stack (Bluetooth 4.0 LE) so that's another story.

hi - how did you get it to appear? mine does not appear in my bluetooth devices at all and I have Windows 8.1 and RT
