Today I bought a Surface RT

This is my first Surface. Looking forward in getting a Surface Pro 3 soon. Just now opening the box, this thing is heavy. Wish they didn't run out of Surface 2, but its okay. I'm grateful for something.

Enjoy it for what it is, and if you think it's heavy try the original Surface Pro, I have one of those and my wife a Surface 2, got to admit for general tablet use the RT devices are very good.

Although going by some of the posts on here you would think you have made a contract with the devil.

Congratulations, I have a Surface RT 64G, use it everyday, great machine replaced my Windows XP Laptop... Compared to the Surface Pro/Pro 2/Pro 3 yes the Surface RT is slimmer and lighter, Only the Surface 2 is slimmer and lighter.

I've had my Surface RT (32gb with a 32gb MicroSD) for about a year and it's been a great machine.

Yeap I got it for a good price at WalMart for $299 dollars. Wow.
