mini-SD wifi card

Has anyone found a way to get the spectec mini-SD wifi card to work with the Motorola Q? My brother has a Q and he'd like to have wifi on it, but I read somewhere that the card doesn't work on the Q.

Hm, I'll have the folks in the store look into it. I know it works fine on the Treo 750, but that PPC edition.

Someone somewhere in this vast WWW posted an email from Spectec that said the Q does not have enough power routed to the slot to drive the WiFi card. Sorry, I just cant remember where I saw it.

You'd think there would be a standard level of power that these slots need to meet and that Motorola would have made the Q meet that standard. I think I read that email or post (some long time ago), but I was hoping that there was some sort patch, maybe from Motorola or just a resourceful programmer....ah well sucks for my bro.
