Hi guys help me pick my first Windows phone :D

Hi am Joe. Am from India. I have been using an Android phone until my friend introduced me to a Lumia 520. I loved the interface and found this site and got really interested into this.
Now i have saved enough money to get myself a Lumia 820. But since am new to this i have a few questions.
1. Should i even consider an 820 since its been released around 2012.
2. People say 820 has a weak battery
3. Or should i wait for 825 / 820's succesor?

If you got the budget to get the flagship, there's really no better option than the Lumia 925, with one exception. If you really love to take photos on your phones, the Lumia 1020 has the 41 mega pixel camera, which is a fabulous first.

If you are looking for low end and can spare 300 to 400 US dollars, the Lumia 625 has the biggest screen and not too shabby specifications, worth looking at.

Yes lumia 820 is a good choice in that price range. Infact some time back the price of 920 had dropped to around 22k(flipkart) , right now it has gone back up.

Really? Thats good to know. But 920 does not have external memory support. Thats a con for me.

Hey I have 820 and believe me its awesome on playing games n internet it gives me around 22-24hrs of battery

Lumia 820 is a nice phone but if you love taking photos ,videos and a massive 32gb internal memory go for lumia 920. Increase your budget to 28-29 trust me you won't regret. It was a flagship phone. It has wireless charging and 32gb memeory when compared to lumia 925 16gb ,no wireless charging plate(purchase external case for this lumia 920 have this built in) and 925 have a aluminum body which is more prone to scratches.

Wait until April, many new devices coming up for all budgets. Getting a Windows Phone now would be a bad idea.

I think we would see 830 with winfone 8.1 release not 825 anytime soon
If u wanna winphone immediately go buy a 820 & believe me 920 has a worse batterylife

Lumia 525 will come at price of Lumia 520 and will have 1gb ram.
Also 725/30 is rumored to have dual sim. But it coming this march

As the 52x series are cheaper, I do suggest those. However, I do suggest waiting for the newly announced 525, as it will still be at a good price, yet double the RAM.
