Signal issues in my lumia 925

Recently i have bought a 925 from other than Nokia care. So i am not getting the warranty. My problem in network signal issue. My phone remains full bar of signal during stand by but the problem occurs during a phone call. It continues to ups & down and ends with a call dropped! This is not happening when i insert the sim in my iPhone! Pls do help what's wrong with it and the solution of it.

What carrier was your 925 originally from, and what carrier are you using?

My current carrier is airtel & it was originally from uk Carrier: Cv gbie.
Btw i got the ?20 voucher though!!
