Where do I begin?? I run a small taxi firm in the UK, and have always been on the Android bandwagon, falling for clever marketing and the belief that it was the best OS.

After 2 years of all vehicles using Note 3's, it was upgrade time, and some thought as to where we go from here. We looked at the Note 4 and realised that we had NEVER used the SPen or most of the apps on there.

So, after much deliberation, I changed to Windows Phone. I ended up with a 930. After a few days we ended up with 5 of them!! My children also jumped to Windows phone!! We now have 5 930's, a 435, a 535, a 640 lte and a 630 (??). As a business phone they are uncomplicated, and have proven reliable thus far, and they seem to have better reception than the notes.

The only gripe I have is that, whilst using previous generation processors and the fact they don't require so much R&D is laudible by reducing waste etc, why is it that every phone is different. Surely if MS want more users to abandon other OS and take up windows, there needs to be some kind of similarity between the devices. The line up seems very disjointed. I can say 'hey cortana' on all the driver phones, yet my wife doesn't have but gets glance screen....etc....?? Some consistancy would be nice.

Other than that small gripe, the phones just work, and are cheap enough to replace at any time.

    I'm loving my 930!!)

    Welcome to the forums...

The hey Cortana feature is limited by the chipset... I believe the 8xx chipsets are required because they have a power saving mode in which the phone can listen for hey Cortana in the background without having the CPU fully running/powered. The 930 has an 8xx chipset while the others do not.

Hey Chris welcome to the forums. It's nice to hear that your whole family switched to WP :D As for why some devices are different, Sinime provides the best answer, but if you want more info you can always ask :)
