Aye, I'm aware of that. I wanted to test it without any adjustment, though. In the original photo, the concrete is rather grey, but due to the angle of the light, CS caught it as blue, I suppose.

    Is that 240z?

Indoor focusing is a bit slow and inaccurate
I take a pic of my daughter a lot inside a room, and it fails to focus several time (she moves constantly)
Is there a way to improve the focus other than using focus assist light (it's not that reliable) and manual focus?
I don't want to blind my daughter lol

    is it just me?

For moving subjects in lowlight, it sometimes helps to just use manual focus based on the relative distance of the subject. If it is more 2 meters away you can try manual focus at infinity, I find that it is reasonably sharp.

Alternatively, if you can manage to tap on the subject and successfully get a focus lock, then after pressing the shutter you can continue to hold down the shutter for burst-mode kind of shooting. This way, the focus lock will remain in place rather than having it recalculate the focus again everytime.

If all else fails, use the Smart Cam. It works very well for fast moving subjects in terms of getting the correct focus and the shutter speed will also freeze the movement. You will most likely be able to nail that shot. However, faster shutter also results in much higher ISO which has more noise in very lowlight conditions. The other downside is that you can't use it with flash.

    That's my '77 280Z, although I do own a 240Z and a '90s 300ZX :)
Hmm, I have no encountered any issues with AF indoors. Try using Nokia's Refocus app, which takes multiple shots in different focus points. See if you can achieve better results there.
