Very cool! May I know how do you achieve such beautiful effects?? Thanks!
Those are HDR images. There's a few different apps in the WP store that'll do it. I prefer HDR Camera. HDRs (High Dynamic Range) are made by taking three or more shots using different exposures for each. I usually do three; One 1.75 over, one 1.75 under and one at zero. Then, all three images are combined into one to achieve the effect. Using a tripod is a definite must when creating HDRs!

Appreciated if can anyone advise on how can we take beautiful falling rain drops? My place was raining cats and dogs, and tried to capture the rain. But is really tough job as it need really fast with the shutter speed, but that will results in over-exposing the shots. Tried lowering the ISO and brightness levels, but not much help at all. If only the aperture can be adjusted.... :(

Seems like some of the drops collided while falling.....

My apologies for not replying sooner, I use VSCO Film presets in Lightfoot or many times I use SkyDrive to move the High Res pics to my old iPhone and use their VSCOCam App for editing as well. I love their Film presets they give some great depth and feeling to the photos.

Try with the flash on. The Xenon flash should help "freeze" the drops. I had decent results with the shutter at 16000 and flash on, with snow and faucet drips. Hard to get a snowflake in focus though, I just set the focus manually and hoped. Take enough pictures and you'll get one in good focus. I'll try again when I get some larger snowflakes falling.

Went to a stargazing event earlier tonight and tried to take a photo of Jupiter through a telescope with my 1020. It didn't quite work out but I was kinda rushed as other people wanted to use the equipment.

Gonna try again another time as I feel I should be able to get good results that show a few moons too.
