Not speaking for anyone else but myself here, but I shoot in RAW and then process the photos in Lightroom.

cheers mate , really nice of you and I appreciate it loads , I have been getting into photography loads over the last few years and its always nice to hear feedback good or bad , the nokia 808 and the nokia 1020 should not be overlooked as a go everywhere camera by people who love taking nice shots , the quality , the pureness , the ability to shoot at night and in low light , the rich recording mics , raw photography , the detail in the photos and the pureness never fail to amaze me and looking at the pics on a 40" hd monitor often makes me think wow what a camera phone ...... you just have to look at the shots in this thread , some amazing shots from many users of the 1020 ...... I actually prefer the 1020 over the 808 because it offers me ois and a few other things ..... I would love the 808 sensor (its a bit bigger) to be paired with the 1020 optics and ois , maybe one day ey ;-) but yeah the 1020 kicks **** and I wouldn't swap it for any phone on the market right now , in fact I am tempted to grab another 64gb model before they stop selling them lol :-) thanks again and I hope your having a nice day

Lightroom is an Adobe Product, like Photoshop. If you have the latest Black Firmware on your 1020, change the camera settings to shoot in RAW (Un-Processed)
I then transfer the photos to my computer where I process the photos in Adobe Lightroom. Think of it as taking it to a dark room to process the photos.

    Yes, indeed I did :)
I showed off my "prototype" here: http://forums.windowscentral.com/nok...tm#post2391767.
It's as much simple as possible, but it shows off what a 1020 with a little help can achieve!

Loving the photos here! i look at some and find it so hard to believe some of these were taken with a camera phone!

I wanted to ask how you lot are going about shooting and editing?

Are you shooting 5mp + full jpeg or 5mp and raw image?

Once you have what photo are you editing the 5mp or the full res?

Lastly is it possible to edit the raw image on the phone then save a full res jpeg?

Cant wait to get my paws on mine in couple of days coming from tiny boring iPhone 5!!

    I shoot in 5MP + 34MP DNG (RAW)
The RAW images cannot be edited on the phone, but I get them on my computer and use Adobe Lightroom for editing.

    Hey!

I shoot in 5+34jpg mode. 99% of my shots is not edited in any way. I just take my time, pick the right place and moment and share the results. I'm not much into editing - that's my personal reason :)
If I have to edit any picture (I use the 5mp variant) I just play with basic settings as saturation/contrast/highlights or BW filters - that's it.
I hope you'll get much fun with Your 1020, it's a great camera in certain circumstances!

    I use 5MP+34MP (DNG).
And i am not editing my photos, i usually upload 5MP and post them here, sometimes i use color pop or something else like b&w from Nokia Creative Studio and that's all.
EVERY pic i posted here is unedited. If you mean editing on PC with some program.

And yes it's possible to edit them on your PC and then convert them.
