5mp or 34mp? which is better if i edit pictures in Lightroom?

btw this is from the 5mp edited in Black app.

If you use lightroom (as I do), you want to use the bigger file but more specifically the raw version, not the jpg. Raw allows lighteoom to have many different edits as layers while the original raw file remains untouched. Also raw allows more leeway in editing.

Also in using lightroom as a data base for your photos raw is a better format for preserving your photos especially if you protect them by regularly backing up. Jpg degrade when copied. Over time those small degradations will show. Raw is not compressed and will not have that same effect. So for long term protection, family photos, raw is a better format.

Here's a selection of photos taken on a recent trip to the Brecon Beacons..

This one was taken at Blaen-Y-Glyn waterfall near Talybont-on-Usk. I took them using two ND filters. There was quite a bit of purple colour cast on the photos which I have tried to remove using Photoshop but think it could do with more tinkering. If anyone has any tips to remove colour cast from ND filters, that would be great.
