Went to the Maryland State Fair with the kids and family this past Labor Day and really had a great time. Having the 1020 with its imaging power was a dream come true for this exact scenario. These pictures were uploaded to my computer and edited with Photoshop Elements.

This one is an unedited shot using Nokia Smart Cam.

I supplemented the battery drain by plugging the 1020 up to a portable 2100maH battery which allowed me to shoot close to 300 shots not including short videos. I just ordered a 12000maH batter off of eBay for under $20 which I am very excited about. I'll never have to worry about battery drain with that. I was going to opt for the camera grip but given the price and minimal extra juice it brings, I preferred the portable battery set up better.

@Nick_1020: I see you have also problems with small black borders around your Photos. I always get the stupid black borders after I change the orientation of a Photo in Nokia Kamera.

Yep. It's a little annoying and happens after I reframe sometimes.
