You'll miss on the warranty for a few grand, notworth.
Unless the difference is of like, 10k don't opt for a US model, just me.

48 K :O.. Nokia must be crazy :\.. Sigh, great phone nevertheless :(.. but 48 k even with a free camera grip is expensive.. put the price at 41 k and let people decide about the camera grip :\.. And the bluetooth, etc bundle isn't that great neither.. Sad Sad..

Sigh,
If they had tagged it at 41 you might complaint its too much they should put it at 35k, and the story never ends.
Have you seen Note 3?, its 50k and its selling quite well. I do know it is a different OS and stuff, but hey, Samsung launches like 100 models in a year, which simply means the price of older models falls like crazy at a fast pace. Nokia doesn't do that so their price stays stable for longer term ;), I am not sure if you know that 920 was launched at 38k and made really good sales even at that price with the USP of the OIS Camera, 1020 has a bigger USP, 41 Megs ;)

Nokia India site showing the price of 49,999 with no extras. That's sad :(

Though the official pre-order link to indiatimes shopping is bundling "FREE Nokia WH-530 stereo headphone worth Rs 2999 absolutely FREE".

The price mentioned is the MRP at 49,999.
Now deduct 10% (more or less as the trend goes) and you'll get the official Best Buy price of around 44,999 or 43,999.

I'm sad because I had hoped they would pack in the grip at this price.

I wish that you will not be wrong about price. I can go till Rs.44,999 but Rs.49,999 is just too much.

Flipkart (WS Retail) now mentions the price of 49,999 in their preorder. They are packing a Canon printer and the Nokia powerbank DC-16 with it.

That 62k pricing on Snapdeal and the "out of stock" notice always looked bull**** to me.
