    When I scroll up and down slowly text gets a little blurry, maybe even slightly laggy? Text on my 920 was perfect. I thought the 1020 had a pure motion HD + display and scrolling text should be super smooth but its not. Is this because its amoled and not LCD like the 920? Is this a bug or defect on my display? Or something that can be fixed with a display & touch update? Anyone else having this issue?

    I'd suggest posting in this thread. Perhaps someone will have an answer for you there.

    same things to me. I guess it's the screen technology, not a defect.

    I only notice it on some sites, not at all on others. Pretty insignificant to me, when it happens. I don't read moving text.

    example:
    CNET=Yes
    WPCentral=Not at all

    It's normal. Disappointing, but normal. I made a post about it here: http://forums.windowscentral.com/win...scrolling.html

    I don't notice it, but then again, I haven't had much exposure to a Lumia 920 other than brief bursts of a couple minutes, with store demo models. So maybe, but it honestly isn't noticeable enough for me to care.

    I never noticed this before. When specifically looking for it just now, it looks to me like the movement is very smooth but there is a slight bit of ghosting. Maybe this is a characteristic of AMOLED, as the appearance of the content being scrolled felt normal to me coming from the Focus S which is also AMOLED. The smoothness of the scrolling is noticeable better on the 1020 though.

    Is it me, or did this improve with the last display & touch update?

    I feel like scrolling is smoother and quicker. I guess I just got used to it...
