Lumia 1020 AMOLED Black Quality

Does anyone have a Lumia 1020 that does NOT have splotches on the screen when viewed in pitch black. Basically I'm trying to find out if an AMOLED screen which is actually pure black exists somewhere out there.

I have obviously read about this, bit kind of try not to notice it on purpose. I have never noticed it though, on mine. What type of image are you looking at when you see this effect?

I've tried seeing this on the glance screen, but I don't notice it. Kind of disappointed though that blacks are not off after all, there's a fair bit of light coming from the 'black' regions. Apparently this is to be expected, but it certainly didn't expect it!
