I have used Apple and Androd for years and just bought a Nokia 1020. The camera is fantastic. The phone "hangs" a lot...a bit like Windows. I just discovered the ability to reboot which solves the "freezing". What is however most frustrating is the lack of apps. I use Saxowebtrader to manage my portfolio. There is no app for the Nokia and what is worse is that the Internet Explorer supplied with the phone wont even open the website.

Try UC browser as well and let us know.

Your phone shouldn't be hanging either. Hard reset, and if it persists, warranty replace it.
