    What do you think guys?

I love 1020 camera a lot, but the shutter lag sometimes fails me.
And i think it would be nice to have external microsd slot and bigger battery life

I have the 1520, I think overall it's way better device than the 1020. Just think about that battery life. Nothing comes close to 1520 when it comes to battery life. So happy with it so far.

I currently have the unlocked version of the 1520 on T-mobile (RM937) running on slow 3G, and I was looking into getting an unlocked 1020 from AT&T, but I have been debating on wether I should just keep the 1520, which I think is great but the network is just so slow, and the 1020 will run on LTE which would be more beneficial, any suggestions would be great, thanks in advanced.

I don't think it will be premiered at MWC this year.

I have both (well, I have the 1520 and my wife has the 1020). Both are great devices, but upgrading from a 1020 to a 1520 will feel like a downgrade when it comes to camera performance if that is important to you. Personally, if I didn't already have the 1520 I would wait it out until WP8.1 devices start appearing.

the 1020 has up to 5 times lossless zoom, while the 1520 has 3 times. plus at night the 1020 takes advantage of a xenon flash.

Guess so. But for shots your not going to be printing, and general every-day shots, the 1520 is awesome as well

yeah of course, don't get me wrong, the only downside I see is at low light, and of course video recording at night.

I had been looking for this the other day and came across the following two pages:
Lumia 1020 and 1520 “Black” including .DNG vs Nokia 808 PureView 8MP and full resolution | PureView Club
Comparison: Nokia Lumia 1020 / 1520 on Black vs Nokia 808 PureView vs Sony DSC-QX100 | PureView Club

I've had the 1520 for a couple of months now. As a past user of everything from Motorola's, HTC's and iPhones I can tell you this is by far the very best phone I've had. The screen quality is out of this world, the speed and overall responsiveness is incredible and the camera is superb. It is, frankly, the absolute king of the lumia range. I appreciate that there's going to be a few more handsets launched soon but honestly I don't see how they're going to better the 1520. Take a look at the 1520 spec sheet and tell me what ms/nokia are going to bolt on to any new models in 2014 that the 1520 doesn't already have.

I think Nokia has done well to keep their product range well diversified; the 1020 may indeed have a better camera but there are enough perks to attract someone to a 1520. To me the camera is more important than anything else, plus I don't really mind the slower photo capturing speed as much so I'm going to keep my 1020 for a while even when a successor comes out with faster processor. I might get a new phone when the next Pureview (or whatever it will be called) technology is introduced (like it did with the 920), and again when it gets merged into the existing PV technologies (like the 1020).
