Nokia 909

So... History. Prior to the official reveal of the Lumia 1020, the leaked codename for it was the Lumia EOS. Closer to the announcement date, evleaks leaked the name to be the Lumia 1020. After that, he backtracked and said that it was the Lumia 909 (Which was a fitting successor to the 808 pureview). However, I think he backtracked again to the Lumia 1020. So came announcement day and it was what we know as the Lumia 1020. Funny thing happened to me (Although Im not sure if im the only one). I plugged in my 1020 into my computer and this is what they show on the WP Desktop app. Don't know whether that was a bug or what. Thoughts, anyone ?

Haha so I guess I'm not the only one then ! But it does makes one wonders. Is this a bug or did Nokia changed the name (again ?) at the last minute so they had no time to change it ?

909 is Nokia's internal name. 1020 is the marketing name.

They obviously can't launch the Lumia 1020 as 909 because it'll sound lower than the existing Lumia 920.
