Lumia 1020: can't connect to Mac OSX ( photo tansfer)

Hello forum

I'm a new WP Lumia 1020 User, i just got my new phone today, so far im loving it, very sleek, fast and elegant.

But my concern is: how can i transfer Photos / Videos to my Mac ( OSX 10.6) ??

I downloaded the app Nokia Photo Transfer for my Mac, but i takes 5-9 minutes to connect with my mobile. Well, it actually doesn't connect at all, it goes to like 99% and then it tells me:"could not connect to your phone. Try reconnecting the USB cable." Reconnecting doesn't work :/

Isn't there any app where i can just transfer my files to the computer?

You want the Windows Phone app for OSX. This then allows you to import into iPhoto.

The windows phone app requires OSX 10.7 or higher. I don't have OSX 10.7. And i don't want to update, since it isn't free and i'm happy with OSX 10.6.

Do you run a boot camp partition? I run parallels on mine and connect to boot camp win8 through it...

Hi.
Interesting. I always wanted to create a boot camp partition. If there isn't any other way transfer my Raw Photos from my lumia to my Mac, i will consider this solution, Thank you
