Best setting for outdoor shots

Honestly, Auto works pretty well for most outdoor shots. The 1020 can over expose backdrops and skylines, alot. Maybe some manual exposure settings, but you'll just have to play with that if you need to. (This is why I wish Nokia Camera had a very basic, single shot, HDR mode, to fix small over/under exposures).

If color balance seems off on the screen, prior to shooting, just point the camera away (either straight up in the sky or straight down works) and then back to the area you want to shoot.

You can check out my Flickr at Blue1k to see some of my photos and what settings I used. Takes a bit of practice and make sure to take a lot of photos. Most never turn out.
