Rebooting changes date and time

Hi I am an owner of a Nokia Lumia 1020 running on Cyan software update. Unfortunately, I've been facing many problems with a phone I loved, one of them is that whenever I reboot my phone the date and time are resetted. The phone starts with a different time and different date, and I have to organize them correctly again. Hope I'll find some help here.. Thanks!

Let me just be sure of what you mean. The same happens to me when I perform a Soft Reset....I just assume it's normal and since I seldom do that it's no problem. I guess you don't mean that....so do you mean Power Off followed by Restart, or simply switching on the phone to use it?

When I do soft reset I also get same problem e.g when I press vol down and power button.

Since Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 you have the ability to sync time+date over NTP

belodion, I mean soft reset ( power button + volume down).. I have to do it because Whatsapp requests that when I'm running on data connection in order to get notifications, but it's being a problem.

I get the same issue, the phone doesnt not automatically update date/ time either.
