I recently purchased one of the RM-877 AT&T 1020, unlocked phones from Expansys and received it aug 5th, I really like the phone but the battery life is unacceptable. I want to use it but I draw the line at a device that doesn't last 16 - 17 hours.

I have been using windows 10, and I listen to audio on Bluetooth headset for 7-8 hours a day streaming from OneDrive 95% while on WiFi. I also used 3GB of data this past three weeks (a first). I know I had it connected to wifi as I always did on my old phone. Is windows 10 (10153?) the culprit?

My question: Is there a way to determine what caused my phone to suck up 3GB of data when I know it was connected to wifi. I am inclined to connect the data usage to battery consumption. I ended up doing a reset and did not even log into Microsoft and I uninstalled every app that would uninstall, copied music to the phone so I would not have to stream from OneDrive but did use Bluetooth as normal, the phone was bare bones still shut off at 12 hours use.

I have an HTC One M8 that I never curtail an app because of battery, and I never even use 1GB of data per month, 500MB if that. I run 2 emails that sync often, news feeds, play music, watch a few videos and I rarely hit 35% after 16 hours. The HTC is an awesome phone but the Lumia has a better display, and the camera......I want my cake and eat it too!! LOL I see now that te 1020 is known battery hog, I should have read more here, but something isn't right to gobble data when it should be on wifi.

On Windows mobile 10 go to settings - network - data usage - show details. I bet that groove music is the culprit on the data usage. I just noticed that groove was downloading music on my lte connection even though it says "waiting for WiFi".
