WIth .63, I was able to reinstall lumia camera app, and it helped with the performance of the app a little bit. Though, sometimes i still get "ghost" edges that are left from the screen refreshing from a snapshot. They disappear after a moment.

And I agree, the Cortana response time is noticbly slower, however I'm hoping with a finalized build, this would speed up.

Double check in the store if you can still reinstall it, and give that a shot?

Wheni did a hard reset, on build .63 my phone installed the stock apps on its own. Here and Att.

my Lumia 1020 now on build 10586.36, all pro camera applications (i.e Lumia Camera, Lumia Panorama, Lumia Selfie, Lumia Refocus, Nokia Smart Cam) is working well,.. no heating, battery life pretty good for my daily use average 10-12 hours,

Are you sure you have Lumia Refocus? It doesn't work on Win 10

I updated my wife's 1020 to W10 a week ago. She is noticing that it's slower then with W8.1, specifically after she takes a photo.
Have you all experienced this and if so do you have any advice on correcting it.

It is definitely slower than 8.1. For photo taking, use the Camera app. Use the Lumia Camera app only when you need to take the 34MP resolution photo. The Camera app is slightly faster than the Lumia Camera app. But there is a definite speed/performance penalty when using W10M on the 1020... No choice, since it's old by today's standards.

Slight suggestion: Use the Lumia camera app only if you need RAW 34MP or quieter Video.

The new MS camera app does shoot 34MP, and it shoots faster since it doesn't shoot the 5MP photo. It just doesnt do RAW, and it doesnt do noise reduction on video recording.

I personally dont need RAW, so I use the MS app most of the time now.

So far, the latest build (.63) is excellent. Very stable so far. Battery life remains poor, but otherwise, everything else works very well. Very happy with the performance on the 1020.

Something users have complained overall which hasn't hurt me yet due to my data plan is data leak. I went from using 2gb a month to having now used in less than 1/2 month around 8gb.

I have turned off messaging back up and syncing. I also have turned on my WiFi since usually I prefer to just use LTE.

Turning off syncing and back up off also seems to have increased the battery life, and after 7 hours of use I still have 47% versus the expected 18% in this build by this time.

I just upgraded my 1020 to Windows 10 and it is running very well. Even migrated my data from WP8 nicely. Worlds better than when I tried this months ago. Looks like they've figured most things out. Battery life is still a bit less than I would expect.

As an aside though, WTH hasn't picture log-in made its way over from the desktop os? This feature would be perfect on a phone!

I just noticed something, under Settings -> Privacy -> Feedback & Diagnostics

Diagnostics was set to FULL. I'll try setting it to BASIC and see if that affects battery life :) I'll let you guys know.

Anyone on the new update, and francis, any word on the battery drain with that reporting stuff switched off?

Here's my update. I charged to100%. Unplugged at 6am. Used apps and texting. A little bit of wifi share. And by noon, was down to 50%.

Note, I keep glance screen on all the time, and I have skype unplugged. The logging made a small difference.

Just got upgraded to the 10.0.10586.71 build.

When i get home from work, I'll check on a few of the bugs that we've been waiting for, like the mobile wifi share when the lock screen turns on. We'll see how it goes.

I don't have a lot to report other than that the battery life seems to have improved. I have been on my phone alot texting and emailing. 7am till 4:12pm and still have 22%.
Before my phone would have died 4 hours ago.

Also there definitely is a bug on messaging. If you have sync messages from anytime on, your phone battery discharges rapidly and the phone gets warm to the touch.
