Nokia Camera Grip button behaviour?

With my Camera Grip, I find that I have to press REALLY HARD on the camera button in order to get the 1020 to take a photo. Is this normal? I'm guessing my camera button is faulty...

That's not the behavior I encounter. It's very crisp and 'clicky'.
