Does it have clearblack? Does the screen look bad?

The screen's awesome, i has clearblack, which helps the device readable under the sun light. About the ppi, it has 250 ppi, so no worry about the pixels. You can only see the pixels if you keep your eyes very close to the screen like this:

Could you try playing a heavy game/using an emulator on it for us to get a feel of the battery life?

I want to see whether something finally has enough battery life to let me play for half a day without having to worry about the battery.

I'm out of storage at the moment, have to clean it up. I'll try some FPS games such as Modern combat 4, Dungeon 4,... Based on the specs, I think it runs better than my Lumia 920, as I tested the Minion Rush, it plays very smoothly.

Lumia 1520 has best battery life ever on a phone according gsmarena. This phone should beat it with lower resolution screen

Here is what I like. Start screen with what the phone can do right up front. I used to have fits when I see Microsoft/Nokia advertize Windows Phone in its most basic form. Default icons, basic color, facebook. That's it. . I'd see this and wonder why Microsoft doesn't show this phone with the apps it runs on the start screen? Show it with the apps, then people will know whats up. Just like the OP did.
