After a week or so with 8.1 preview i found it's time to publice my experiences

The update whent oke, no problems there.
Ok? i had some problems with the videoapp, but thats already common knowledge ( and for me Yxplaeyer works very well ).
The actionbar is something i realy think is a great feature and works great.
The swipe to kill apps under the returnbutton is not realy necessary, you can stil kill your apps by using the big X
The new homescreen looks very very cool and finally you can place a pic of your mother in law as a wallpaper.
But the downside is, the standard apps like the hubs and the hereapps are not transparant and therefore aren't realy eyecandy.
Ok? you can solve that with "Transparancy Tiles".
Cortana, nothing much to say about that, MS desided that i can not use that app because i live outside the region.
But i stil can use voice control in combination with good old Bing, just tip the search and the homebuton simultaneously and it comes up.
I realy dont understand why they changed the Screendump buttons, in WP 8 its the powerbutton and the homebutton,
now its the powerbutton and the volumeup ( both ofcource simultaneously ).

Its save to say that you got a complete other Phone with WP8.1
and just like everything else you love it or you don't

Isues i found on Preview 8.1 so far

Sometimes the Phone darkens or freezes when i plug in the powercable ( a reboot does the trick ).
Same thing happends when i pulled out the same cable.
When i plug in the usb powercable or usb to pc, it takes about 10 sec. before its reacts.
More powerdrain and slower charging.
Not all apps are happy when installed on SD
Sometimes apps are "blacked out" after transfering them to the Phone ( or to SD ) and cant be recovered ( example the Analoge clock app ).
Only way is deleting and reinstall it from the store.

Phone is also getting warmer during charging.

With al this, just keep in mind its just a preview edition.
Hopefully these isues are al going to be solved during the final release

supplemental
Today i took some photo's, nothing weird.
After five minutes i needed some aditional pics and the phone was "dead".
So needed a reboot.....but the darn thing would not shut down.
Victory was mine after a soft reset, but it took quite a while before the phone gave up.

Also the browsing experience is less, sometimes it just blanked out and stotters and seems
it has a hard time to keep up during scrolling.
