Make sure you're totally powering off the phone at some point. I.e. power off with no charger attached. Leave it off for 30 seconds before switching on.

Sounds like a battery calibration data issue, where 100% is being reported for a charge that is not really 100%. I have just posted a question here in windowscentral regarding a battery bug that occurred several times, both in Windows Phone 8 and 8.1, and for different phones. From it, I think it seems that switching/changing your phone's regions resets the battery calibration data*. Let us know if this helps.

    * - Keeping the phone plugged in, from 100% in US region it drops to 65% right after my phone restarts when I change the region to my country. Charging all the way to 100% was faster than normal, just over five minutes. In fact, I was able to catch the charge "jump" from 86% to 100% literally in a blink. Switching back to US region dropped the charge to 65%, but then it "jumped" again from 70% to 100% in a split second. Hopefully this time 100% would really mean 100%.

    Yeah I guess it's a calibration problem!!
But I didn't change my region for a long time ..
But I changed the region now and your are correct... The battery percentage changes from 99% to 64% then I returned to the main region its back to 94%

    WTF is going on ?!?!

Keep us posted on your observations. As for my L1020, I haven't noticed changes in the average discharge rate after the "region" bug, though I noticed that the charge doesn't "stay" at 100% for several moments only to decline rapidly after a while - not that it leaves 100% a few minutes after being unplugged, but the decline is a bit more gradual now. The average discharge rate, however, remains the similar.

AmGaD-SaLaH "did some stuff" (ref. post #8), but while waiting you can try charging your phone to 100%, then change your region* so you will be prompted to restart your phone. You should see that as soon as your phone powers up the charge has significantly dropped. Now charge your phone again to 100%, then return to your initial region*. The charge would have dropped again the second time - so charge it again to 100%. You should observed some improvement in battery life as this seems to calibrate the battery** for some reason.

    * - If you're a Cortana user but live outside the US, just change your region (e.g. to the Philippines or any other region compatible with a language you know), then switch is back to US later as mentioned - you will not lose your Cortana settings and notebook, though you will have to pin it again after returning your region.

** - Battery calibration normally only occurs after "fully" discharging your battery.

Okay here is how i fixed it (Lumia 1320)

    fgawrv.png

    1- Remove your SIM Card
    2- Remove your SD Card
3- Use the phone normally till The phone's battery 0%
4- Leave the phone with 0% for about 30 Minutes
5- In case of lumia 1320 Unplug the Battery From the board , Others just remove the battery
6- Plugin the battery charger , Or better charge it via your Laptop Or Desktop pc
7- When the battery reaches 50% remove the charged
    8- Wait 3-5 minutes .. then do a soft-reset
9- Check your battery saver to see the ETA
10- Charge your phone to 100% + 10 minutes for the next 3 recharge times
    11- Do another soft-reset ..
12- Turn on location service !! ( it's odd i know , but when closed the battery drained for me )
13- Place back both of your SD Card + SIM Card
14- MAKE SURE .. to move the daily use apps to your phone not to your SD Card

That's all .. my battery fixed just like that

Battery saver keeps discharging battery, haven't had any problems since I turned it off. 1 day and 2 hours from 100 to 11% with random internet sharing to 1-3 devices, playing games, surfing on the net etc. 4G enabled 24/7. L1320 Cyan + DP latest.

My phone still does not connect to my PC. My PC's running on windows 8 Pro x64.
I think its because of the hidden usb setting.

I had that problem before .. Is your OS ending with N version? Or just pro ?
If it's pro .. Then I guess you should upgrade to win8.1

I tried the above steps, the battery saver was showing 1day 15hrs ETA when i charged my phone to 100% at night. But today when i woke up in the morning my phone was OFF.
The battery drained completely. But i guess there was little improvement.
    I'll try it again.
I think Denim will sort both my problems.Waiting for Denim desperately.
