Hello guys,
i was curious and i drawed a Nokia Lumia 1520 to test if it would not be to big for my hands and if i would like that size ...
I used the exact same dimensions that leaked earlier trough the FCC a few days ago and i figured out that it won't be a 6 inch device, instead i think it will be a 5.7 inch device, why? Look at the pictures below, these are exactly the same dimensions that leaked trough the FCC.

EDIT: if this device would have a 6inch screen then there would be almost no bezel and that won't match the bezels on the leaked pictures.

EDIT: The 3rd picture must be 152mm instead of 182mm on the yellow note, sorry quick mistake.

EDIT (6th October 2013): The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has also a 5.7inch screen, and here are the dimensions of it compared to the Nokia Lumia 1520,

151.2mm vs 152mm, 79.2mm vs 81mm, the thickness of the Nokia Lumia 1520 has not leaked yet.

Please correct me if i'm wrong !

What do you guys think?

I think the you are correct unless that device that was leaked will be something else. The difference between 5.7 and 6 probably isn't much.

I don't know ... I'm really confused about this, because no tech site reported that it would be 5.7". And the difference between 5.7 and 6" is not much, true but you would notice the difference i'm sure about that, anyway thanks for your comment!

The dimensions for the different screen sizes would be:

6 Inch: 133x75 mm which would mean 3 mm bezel on the sides and 18 mm total on the top and bottom.
5,7 inch: 126x71 mm. This gives you 5 mm on the sides and 25 mm total on the top and bottom.

This of course assuming the sizes given of the phone above. If we do this the other way, I played around a bit the the last render of the red lumia 1520, and given the proportions of the screen verus the dimensions of the phone, a 5,7 inch display with the above numbers would give a phone with the dimensions of 81x154 mm. Of course this could be more accurate as I basically had to play around with using paint for counting the pixels as I am not at home at the moment, but I would also say that it would be hard to see how you would fit a 6 inch display into these dimensions.

Hi! The dimensions of the screen of the phone that i drawed are 124x75mm and that is also 5.7inch if i'm not wrong... This gives me 3 mm bezel on the sides and 14mm bezel on the top and bottom...

I can't wait for 22 october, then we will know everything about this device officially ;-)

I think it will be 6 inch screen... 6 in screen with 16:9 ratio will be 132.8x74.7
The FCC dimensions are from the edges of the antennas from inside the device, outside will be a little bigger.. See the height in this photo

I think the dimension will be around 158x85
This is my estimations in real, not as good as Credo93 one ;)

Hi, thanks for your comment, there is one thing i want to mention...

The dimensions of the leaked FCC statings are 152mm x 81mm, if you look at the picture below, the dimensions are wrong, it is 160mm x 77mm and the 81mm from the leaked FCC does not fit inside the 77mm, that's why i was thinking it is going to be a 5.7" screen.

But we all are going to see what it will become when Nokia announce's it. Can't wait!

I really hopt this phone is less than 6 inches. I held the Galaxy Mega today and it's just too big. I can do a Note 2 or Note 3 size but not the Mega. I will say the more I handle these larger phones/phablets the smaller they become. The Nokia 1020/925 feel tiny now. My Titan II also feels really small.
