Consider the following:

Nokia Lumia 1520
Screen: 152.4 mm
Height: 162.8 mm
Width: 85.4 mm
Depth: 8.7 mm
Weight: 209 g

Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Screen: 144.3 mm
Height: 151.2 mm
Width: 79.2 mm
Depth: 8.3 mm
Weight: 168 g

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8
Screen: 147.3 mm
Height: 162.6 mm
Width: 82.4 mm
Depth: 9.0 mm
Weight: 182 g

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3
Screen: 160.0 mm
Height: 167.6 mm
Width: 88.0 mm
Depth: 8.0 mm
Weight: 199 g

With this in mind, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 is roughly the same size as the Lumia 1520. The Lumia 1520 has a larger screen, so it appears that it will have less "wasted space" compared to the Galaxy Mega 5.8.

Yes. That was well worth mentioning their that the 1520 does indeed to appear to have less wasted space than the other two, using what it has more efficiently. I noticed by looking at the pictures that the screen bezel appears to be very thin, as does the row of buttons at the bottom of the screen, quite different to the like of Lumia 920 and 1020 which have quite a fair chunk of wasted space and the bottom, for whatever reason.

Well I just measured it up and noticed the 1520 is exactly the same height and width as a napkin from itsu which I happen to have on my desk.

1520 screen size is almost identical to 920 whole phone size, slightly bigger when i remeasured.. Just imagine some casing around it when you next look at your 920. Best way is to flip phone around and you get better idea. Not so big at all i think. And it is also so damn thin compared to 920.
