I found some threads saying a class 6 card is fast enough for most phones. With the processing power and image size on this phone is that still the case?

Also, does anyone know if the phone buffers to internal memory first before writing to SD cards?

I bought this one, I am doing everything to mitigate lag and loading when bringing up pics and music from an external source. I don't know if it will make any difference over cheaper alternatives but hey, why risk it. Premium phone, premium card

Any clues on why nokia recommends a 32 GB card in the 1520 manual? Aren't 64 GB cards of SDXC type which means they are faster? Excuse my ignorance.

I can only guess as the 32 GB cards are kind of the norm now and a good price point. Perhaps they didn't get to do full testing on 64 GB cards?

Other than that and size I can't see that it matters.

I already ordered a class 10 for mine. Better safe than sorry, especially if you are saving or transferring to it in RAW format. Amazon.com: SanDisk Ultra 32 GB MicroSDHC C10/UHS1 Memory Card with Adapter (SDSDQU-032G-AFFP-A): Electronics

Good pick, this is what I have. And the price is great too! Last year this was the same price I paid on Black Friday haha.
