Man these are some killer low light photos....

EDIT: Question for you all: are you touching these up in any way or just posting them straight off the click?

All of the stuff I've posted is unedited.

Not exactly off the click for me. I did crop/reframe some of the photos because I think it makes for a better outcome. That's about the only editing I did for the photos I posted above.

Went for a night out in town, perfect opportunity to take some lowlight shots.

The above 4 I try to kept within ISO 100-200, slower shutter speed, and depending on something to lean on or a surface I can rest the phone on to keep it as stable as I can.

Really nice shots and lower ISO bumps quality up nicely. What was shutter speeds on those ISO 100-200 shots?

I wish i had something equally awesome sceneries to take photos from.

It kinda varies, from as fast as 1/25 for the Japanese lanterns (since they are quite near to me and I simply wanted to focus on the lanterns) to as slow as 0.6s for the cityscape shots.

The Nokia Refocus app really shows off the camera in the 1520. Here is a sample frame rendered at low res:

Amazing how you can alter the focal point AFTER you take the shot.



Touch the small UPS label in the background of this shot. It's like magic!
