Using Nokia Camera under full auto settings.

and under low light with ISO and exposure set manually.
ISO-100 @ 1/3 sec

ISO-100 @ 0.8 sec

ISO-100 @ 1/4 sec

ISO-200 @ 1/5 sec

One thing I don't like is how the screen doesn't show live effects of ISO and exposure adjustments, as my old canon s-30 from 2004 used to. If I adjust the exposure duration, it would be nice if the screen either gained brightness or became darker accordingly. With this Nokia, you have to take a picture in order to see if you've got the right exposure. Changes to the EV, WB and focus are shown on the display, but not ISO and Exposure. For me, WB is not necessary as I already know how these will effect the image. Same with EV, and the focus adjustment is nice, I guess, but I find that without distance data, manually focusing on this device is a novelty. It is the ISO and Exposure duration that are critical.

re: Pictures & Videos Taken With My Lumia 1520

Well I might as well post after lurking here for the better part of a decade.

Here's two photos taken with my new Lumia 1520 (which I'm loving).

Sunset from my apartment in Sydney, taken Saturday February 8th.

Sydney Harbour Bridge, taken Sunday February 9th

I only got the phone last Thursday so haven't really taken many photos yet :)

Hi. :)
I must to say, that I am very disappointed with indoor low light photos and videos, as somebody have been speaking about it.
I will upload some of them when I find time. Do you know, will it be fixed with some new update or this is what we have? :-/
On the other hand, I am very pleased with daylight photos and options.... :)

Well, nothing special. :)
I've used Nokia Camera app, manual settings.
Go in manual setings and chose the ring for focus. Than move it up and watch until you get the best focus on object. :)

My first shooting attempt with my new Lumia 1520 :) We got a nice and fresh snow but there was no sunshine today.
My first impression is positive with image quality and camera functions, specially for landscape where you don't need fast Autofocus and long Zoom-lenses. Everything worked nicely but I couldn't find a way to change the aperture, maybe it needs a bug-fix/software update

My second outing with Lumia 1520, this time under sunshine :)

The shot shows the Mobile-photo revolution too, where people just stop and use their Phones to take pictures.

Great photos, specially your night photos. I think that they are unedited photos, are they ?

EDIT: I think that they are too good to be unedited photos (maybe Lightroom edited) ... :)

no they are totally unedited. im a casual mobile user who doesnt fiddle much with the settings.
took those pics in auto mode with 5 mp resolution .no post editing. one thing i noticed is the focus light is of great help in night pics. u can clearly see the things{here the flowers} and adjust the focus correctly.{even i was surprised with how good the pics came out}
