If you use auto settings for low light, shots aren't going to be that good. Take same shot using manual ISO 100 - 400 settings and report back :smile:

This has been one of my main issues, yes ok if you sit and mess with settings you can get some nice shots, but as for quick in the moment....nope not really.

Its worse still if you shoot video in low light, its horrible so much so I try not to.

In good light the photos and videos are great, but as soon as you lose light, you either get lucky on some shots/mess with settings/or its not so good....though photos have been not to bad with the flash....videos are meh!

Found vs videos of the 1520/Z1/ip5/note3/and others....all beat the 1520 in low light videos...easy...such a shame.

Can they make it better? maybe tweak it but many claim HW been the issue.....no idea, and no idea if they will try and tweak it, guess its best to bother them and see if they will act.

Not the best use of HDR/Tonemapping, but it looks closer to the real life experience than the pictures separately.

It was on night mode. :/ Except ISO, what elese should I change? Shutter speed?
I've found some external LED flash lights for phones, like Photojojo Spotlight, do you think that it could help with low light photos?

You need only change ISO, everything else needs to be auto. Maybe white balance if it is not for your liking. Then just hold phone steady and don't use physical camera button since it causes your phone to move when pressing it.

Ok, thanks, I will try at the same place next week when I go to my brother where I took photo. I wish the same conditions so I can see the difference.
