I shot this in Camera last night, Forced HDR, no adjustments to "Best Lighting." The oversampled jpg weighs in at 5.3MP (3072x1728) and 1.02MB.




The above looks better on my 1520. More rich and lustrous. It also has quite a bit of grain to it when viewed at 100% on desktop...

I imported the ev0 dng file to my PC. The file size is 21.3MB. If I open it in Fotor ( a free app) and save as jpg I get 16.2MP (5368x3016) and 11.1MB file size. It looks the same except darker as it is the ev neutral layer of the HDR. Here is a reduction (Office Picture Manager '07) to fit the forum. 7.8MP (3730x2096) and 3.29MB...




This is a step backwards...

But continuing on in Fotor, I cropped out a 4:3 that cut out all the distractions and left the elements I wanted: the plane, the sky and clouds, the sunset colors. I then used basic edits to restore it towards what I remember my eye seeing in the scene that made me think, I've got to snap this NOW!

I ended up with more pleasing lighting, tones and sharpness. The result is 9.5MP (3567x2673) and 5.38MB. Reduced again in Pic Mngr to fit the forum. 6.3MP (2898x2171) and 3.27MB...




There is some artistic license taken. I "punched up" the image to bring out a little more of what I saw. Closer, but still grainy. 1520 seems to do this whenever the light starts to fade.

So I took the full size (9.5MP jpg) output from Fotor, "printed" from the dng, and opened that in Polarr. This App is normally $19.99, but is on sale through April 24 for only $0.99. 50% of the receipts from this sale are being donated to the Conservation International Foundation in celebration of Earth Day. Win/Win situation, right?

In Photo Editor Pro | Polarr, I denoised color and luminance each at 100% and saved the result as a jpeg. 9.5MP (3567x2673), but here is the astounding bit; not only did it clean up the photo nicely - the same resolution of 3567x2673 now only weighs 677.7KB!!!

Here it is. I'm pretty happy with this edit.

Dude... You really need to try Camera360 Sight. Shoot high res jpg and run them through the filter pack.

Your first pic above reminds me of this post I did: http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-1520/250141-40.htm#post3327980 except you are getting a bit over saturated, IMHO.

Dude... You really need to try Camera360 Sight. Shoot high res jpg and run them through the filter pack.

in this app in hdr mode i can use only 5Mpix on my Lumia1520. App have a great potential i agree with this, but this low res i hdr mode...

Took a 3 hour hike to the Mt. Pinatubo Crater lake in Pampanga Philippines.
This volcano erupted in June 15, 1991 and was considered the second largest volcanic eruption of the twentieth century.
It took 800 lives and lasted for 9 hours.

My gal all ready for the hike

my first upload on this forum. i've been browsing this page for months now and decided to share some pics.
this is my aunts house where i stayed over the weekend.

taken by proshot and edited by camera360. i like the filter which was supercell. makes it look a little like a painting.

this was in front of their house on the other side of the street.
