I just enjoy reading peoples posts and sometimes I look for answers to questions I have on this forum. But I just had to make this thread.. I picked up my Lumia 1520 and the display is GLORIOUS!! Netflix video, web browsing and the screen is soo smooth. I had a l920 before this and i've actually noticed improvement with opening apps.

But I'm in love with the screen, so bright, soft and smooth.

It's defeintely a nice screen. I have always hated the soft look of amoled screens but there colors were very nice compared to IPS LCD's. The 1520 seems to be a mix of both with really good blacks for a LCD and still being able to get really good whites as LCD's can. Perfect screen IMO and I have tried them all.

Agreed! Just picked up my 1520 today and I must say the screen is wonderful and vibrant. After getting used to this display for a bit, the 920's display looked awkward and the colors weren't as great. It's definitely a beautiful screen.

I had 2 of my coworkers considering switching to windows phone after their contracts are up. After seeing this phone are ready to switch now. LOL. And of course an iphone guy had to go there about it's size. Just for him, I laid the 1520 on the table next to my work iphone 5 and it's just as thin.
