Sim tray and SD card tray

Are the sim and SD trays supposed to have a very small amount of play when they are pushed all the way in? It's very slight but they do wiggle a bit.

Mine has the same thing going on. I've tried pushing them while the phone is on and haven't noticed any issues.

Mine had a slight bit after I installed the SD card but I pushed it in slightly more and it locked. They still have a hair of play, but not much at all.

That's how mine are. They are locked in place but the strip of black has a very slight amount of play. I didn't notice it for the 1st day I had it until I held it a certain way. On my LG G2 the outer part of the tray fits down into a perfectly sized cutout. It doesn't move at all, kinda like an iPhone.

Yeah if I tap my finger on them, I can hear rattle when I hit them.

It makes sense that they would have a little bit of play. Otherwise, ejection could turn into an issue. I dunno. If they had not been spring loaded and instead they were tension set, I don't imagine they'd be this way.
