Hi.. I have only one issue remaining with my Lumia 1520. The 4g,LTE connection. I have read that many people can't get 4g or LTE speed like me. I live in USA and I use METROPCS. Those anybody knows if Nokia has released a fix for that issue?

I( believe that 4G LTE is a carrier implemented thing and the issue would be cell tower build out with LTE implementation not a cell phone manufacturer issue.

I'm getting my 4G LTE speeds on my telco; I would believe it's more of a telco/reception issue rather than the phone itself.

Which 1520 are you using? unlocked AT&T RM-940? International RM-937?

Doesn't MetroPCS use band 4 for lte while the rm-937 doesn't support it?

Yeah it would depend on the LTE bands supported by MetroPCS and you phone.

The 937 supports these: LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600
The att version supports these:
700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600

You can see there is a difference

Let me see if I understand you...
You did you mean that band 4 for LTE... And that RM-937 GLOBAL VERSION does not support it?

source GSMARENA.COM

4G Network LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 - RM-937
LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 - RM-938, RM-940

The RM-937 would needs Band 4 (1700) for LTE and it doesn't have band 4

I haven't heard of a RM-938, what I've heard of is:

RM-940 with (850/9001900/2100 MHz) for 3G and (700/850/1700/1900/2600 MHz) for LTE
RM-937 with (850/900/1900/2100 MHz) for 3G and (800/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz) for LTE
RM-939 To be announce in the future, with only 3G (850/900/1900/2100 MHz)

Here's a list of all LTE bands and frequencies: List of LTE networks - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I also bought rm-937 and now and then I get h+ on tmobil was trying to figure out the lte problem as well. so tmobil is 1700/2100 bands. I just bought it and maybe I should return the phone and get a att branded 1520 then?

If like you can also go to eBay if you like unlocked phones. And look for Nokia Lumia 1520 rm-938. I just bought mine there. It's USA version.

All variants of the L1520 support LTE. The only difference is that the one for AT&T is the only one that has the bands used in,the US and Canada.

The RM-937 is the model number for the device sold outside the US.

Hi, I'm using an RM-937 device in Switzerland on the Swisscom network. Swisscom supposedly uses bands 800, 1800 and 2600. But I still can't get 4G. It used to work with my Lumia 925. I can't even choose 4G in the SIM settings. Any ideas?
