This appears to be an AT&T RM-940 that Negri has purchased and unlocked so that it works with SIMs from other carriers. This phone does not appear to be an RM-938, the version with US LTE frequencies, Qi, 32 GB, and a choice of colors.

Thought so.....Still waiting and frustrated.

Have you seen the other one from HongKong?

Nokia Lumia 1520 32GB LTE (RM-938 - AT&T - No Contract)

Do you think that is a 938?

HUH?

Lost me at bands, I like Country bands and rock and roll bands. But this AWS band is new to me. :winktongue:
HUH INDEED?!
No wonder why you are lost ... You are looking at wrong bands, I'm afraid this phone doesn't like Country ... Rock and Roll is thing from the past ...
Now it makes more sense why your phone doesn't work ... Maybe you can try to plug it into Yamaha receiver, it could help your reception ...
By the way, i'm electrical engineer with background in RF, so i know my stuff ...

Now, I use to ride a Yamaha 750cc Triple years ago. But since my field is accounting, I will leave the electronics to others. As far as music, I will listen to almost anything but gangsta rap. Even classical can be pretty cool during certain times.

there seems to be a lot of questions about this, so here's my conversation with Negri. Beyond this, I don't know anything about negri, and I've never bought anything from Negri:

Good morning and thanks for your reply. The Nokia Lumia 1520.3 is the model RM-938. The unit does support wireless charging but unfortunately those accessories are sold separately. The unit will come with a standard plug charger.

Please rate my reply.

My attitude all along, re: RM-938, has been "screen shot or didn't happen."

I assume it finally happened because I quit waiting for it and broke down and just bought a 940. Figures.

Just a moment...

Anthony:
Hello, my name is Anthony.
How may I help you?

me: does the lumia 1520.3 have wireless charging built in??

Anthony: Hello there, the units do support wireless charging but according to my specs they do not include those accessories in the packaging.

The wireless charger is sold separately,.

me: and it support 1700Mhz on 3G and band 4 for LTE?

so it will work perfectly on both AT&T and T-Mobile?

Anthony: Yes, you can look at the specifications on the product listing to verify.

me: yes I do see that

i just wanted to make sure

do you know which model it is?

RM-937, RM-938, or RM-940?

Anthony: This is the model RM-938.

me: that is amazing news!

Enough is enough - I am ordering this today. I'll take a risk and if it's the wrong one, I'll return it.

Wish me luck!

By the way, I got this email back from Nokia this morning regarding where I can buy the RM-938:

Hi Collin,

Thank you for emailing Nokia Careline.

We understand that you would like to buy a Nokia and RM-938 variant of the Lumia 1520 to be used with T-Mobile network. We would like to inform you that this device model is Latin American variant. Thus, it is not available in the USA market. We would like to inform you that we do not have an international warranty. Meaning, warranty terms are valid only in the country where the device was purchased. As a result, you should bring a device for repair and receive the service in the country where the device was originally came from.

If you wish, you may contact your current operator for the unlocking information. However, we wouldl like to remind you that since your device was designed with AT&T in the USA, some of its features may not work with a different network.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again. To ensure proper handling of your case, kindly continue using the current subject line.

For future reference, you may check our website. Kindly refer to the link below:
