I have a Nokia 1520 that has been stellar up to this point
Not sure if this is unique to the model or just WinPhone OS
I was prompted to change my PIN lock password for my device as my company makes me change it every 60 days
However, when I tap in the box to enter the old password (or the new password for that matter)
the soft keyboard never comes up. There's just a big blank box down there at the bottom where it should be.
Ive tried everything I can think of: power cycle, plug in to computer, remove SIM card, etc. but no luck.
The IT guys cant reset the PIN from their side.
Any other ideas before I am forced to wipe it?

TIA

That's more than a bit odd. The keyboard shows up here when changing PINs.

I know this fix is usually for botched updates that leave the phone with odd behavior, but have you tried adding another language keyboard and soft resetting the phone?

That should kick in a recompile of the .NET binaries, and make things work again if that's the issue. If not a hard reset seems like the only solution. :(
