I'm ready to move to a phablet. I've looked at the 1520 but I'm hesitating. The 1520 has been out for a while and the 1525 has been talked about for months. I waited for MWC and no announcement. I waited for Build and no announcement. There seems to be very little talk about a Lumia 1525 at all now.

I would hate to buy the 1520 and the next month hear the 1525 release date announced.

Does anyone know if the 1525 exists and if it is going to be released in the months ahead?

As far as I recall, I don't believe there has been a single reliable source who has mentioned anything about this "rumored" device.

I'd be more concerned about the 1520's screen issues ever being resolved. I doubt a 1525 is ever even coming.

If you keep waiting, the McLauren will be out, so just jump ship now.

As happy as people are with their 1520's just pick one up. I highly recommend version two. 1520.3 or something like that. The integrated qi charging it has is well worth it.
