Hi All

I'm looking for a case for my 1520 in the UK. I prefer the pouch/sleeve style cases, with a lid flap or closure strap if possible. Either vertical or horizontal orientation is fine.

Links to examples of the style of case I prefer:

PDair Leather Case for Nokia Lumia 1520 (Vertical Pouch Type, Black) - Expansys.com UK

Care to share any opinions on which ones are a good option?

Thanks

I currently own the red leather (faux leather?) version of this case:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00GSSDERE?tag=hawk-future-21&ascsubtag=UUwpUvbUpU2523489

It is technically a stand, but it doesn't work very well. As a case, it is phenomenal. The lid stays closed. You simply wrap it around to back when using it. It doesn't fold completely flat in the open orientation but that doesn't bother me.

Taking pictures is a mild irritation, but that is going to be an issue with ant case with a front flap.

It feels very nice in your hand. It slides in and out of my pocket with little difficulty. I have dropped my phone a few times from about a foot or two and it survived. It does protect the corners to some extent (mainly scratches), but its not an otterbox or anything.

Overall I really like the case. I like the red leather look. I like how the cover lies perfectly flat on the screen when closed. Very inexpensive case that feels "professional".

This is the one I have and I find it fantastic especially at cleaning the phones screen while taking the phone out, the screen is always clean and I mean no smudges or anything. It doesn't have a flap over the top but the phone is recessed down well into it.

The reason I like pouches over covers is because when I'm using the phone it is naked.

That's exactly the reason I like the pouch style cases too. The Fitbag range are one of the cases that have caught my eye. I almost ordered one from Amazon before I started this thread, so I'll go and have another look.

Cheers

One thing to note about the fitbag pouches is that they don't have any support around the top of the pouch so if you go for one that is not leather then it will be floppy if you know what I mean.

Hmm, can't decide between the brown faux suede and the black suede.

Don't get any thing that has a magnet in it. No matter how tiny the magnet is, the magnetometer in the 1520 (compass) is very sensitive and will be affected.
