Hi. I've only been using wp for a very short time, before then i was an android user. My question is do i need an antivirus or a cleaner like ccleaner for windows. I use my phone for work related items and definitely not for sleazy use.

Hey congratulations for your lumia 1520. Windows phone is a closed source OS , similar to apple iOS. So you should not worry about any virus on your phone. Regarding Ccleaner , it's available for desktop (windows ). You can clear IE history by going into phone settings.

For NOW, you are correct.

... as far as future exploits, time will tell. The low market share will insulate Windows Phone, short term. Part of the reason I selected my Lumia 1520 - like Nokia's Symbian, before it, it was relatively secure.

As long as the user doesn't create the problem (install the wrong app) it will remain so.
NOTHING is totally secure !

It's way more secure than ios or Apple software in general, cracked by a 14 years old for sport, "most advanced os in the world" they say... For an Android user it should be a dream!
