I've had my 1520 for a few days and I just have been trying out the video. Utter crap in low light. Image stutters and flickers vertically. Tried both beta and non beta. Wow. Compared to my 1020 or Nexus this is a joke.

Any suggestions? I might dump this phone because of this. I can't accept this. 😞

It's now doing this in bright light. Arggh. Why? 😞

If anyone has any suggestions to help I would greatly appreciate it. I can't even use my phone to film my daughter anymore. I'm regretting this purchase. 😞

Are you recording the video to a MicroSD Care? If so what brand/type?

Video is actually one of my favorite and most-trouble-free features on my 1520. For example I took this video and a full 1080p today and posted to Facebook (and I've uploaded it to OneDrive for this forum)

This one was done about 3 weeks ago when they had to open the St Anthony Locks to try and control flooding on the Mississippi:

In both cases the recordings were just fine, and that is pretty typical for me.

Nope to the device. It's only been doing this for a few days. If I drop frame rate to 24fps it is perfect.

It's so bad with 30fps that everyone person I have shown is WTF is that. :(

Already did a factory reset too. I use my Sandisk Ultra for music only.

Sort of makes me wonder if it is something wrong with your phone, almost like it can't save data fast enough.. What you're describing definitely isn't normal. Out of curiosity, is it any better if you save it to the SD card instead of internal memory?

I didnt really need more of a reason to try and nab a 1520 but I think this just helped push me over the edge on what I've seen those far. nice vids.

Hello everybody.
I have a lumia 1520, the problem is when I record video with Nokia camera app, there is a continuous background sound that alters any clip I shoot. However with Windows phone camera app, this issue does not exist but the sound's quality is better with Nokia camera app.
Perhaps it's related to the four mics ? And directional stereo ? I have all updates and WP 8.1 GDR 1
The issue is there since I got the phone with WP 8.0
Please help !!!!
