The 1520 should have Quick Charge 2.0 after the 8.1 Update 1, since it has the Snapdragon 800 processor.

So, what charger can we use that will provide the 9V/2A needed for Quick Charge 2.0?

Hopefully this isn't a "feature" with no eligable devices to use it!

Didn't know you needed a special charger. I thought the feature finally enabled and worked with the OEM charger. My 1520 definitely charges faster after update 1.

I am glad I came across this post because since the update my phone will charge so quickly I thought it was broken. I charged it today from 50% to 100% in just over an hour. It is remarkable..... however, hopefully I can get the battery life back to pre update and the discharge rates back down to 1% from where it is now at 3%.

There are many devices that use this feature but just because you have a Snapdragon 800 doesn't mean it's guaranteed that you will get quick charge.

It also depends on what chips Nokia used for battery management and charging.

My Nexus 5 sports a newer Snapdragon 800 than the 1520 but has no quick charge because LG used a battery management chip that doesn't support quick charge.

If Nokia/Microsoft have not confirmed Quick Charge, there is probably no chance the 1520/930/Icon will get it.

So I read that Quick Charge 2.0 uses 9V to accelerate the charging process. The OEM charger is only 5V @ 1.5A?

I think whatever anyone is seeing with regards to faster charge times is not related to Quick Charge 2.0.

Here is a good site, with product links to chargers that are Quick Charge 2.0 capable.

1520, 930 and Icon do have Quick Charging.....

Microsoft reveals Update 1 for Windows Phone 8.1, due next week for Preview users | Windows Phone Central

I've been using it on my 1520 with 9V/2 amp charger. It's for Qualcomm 400, 600 and 800 series, so that would be the 3 phone models I listed, namely: 1520,930 and Icon. Not sure if any other Lumias have the other CPUs listed. I suspect they would also need the supporting chipsets.

Here's a link to Qualcomm's specs: https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/quick-charge

Which charger are you using that does 9V/2A? Link for purchase?
